Dear Friends,
It is a privilege to welcome you to the Kerala Ecumenical Christian Fellowship Dallas.
KECF began in 1979 with a simple but powerful vision: that Christians from different church traditions could come together in faith, fellowship and service while respecting the distinctive heritage of each tradition.
I was blessed to be part of that beginning, when the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, the Mar Thoma Church, and the Church of South India came together to establish this fellowship. At a time when the Kerala Christian community in Dallas was still small, our hope was to create a common Christian platform that could bring our churches and families together.
More than four decades later, it is deeply gratifying to see that vision continue. What began with three churches has grown into a fellowship of 20 churches and congregations across the Dallas area.
Through the years, generations of clergy, leaders, families, youth and volunteers have strengthened KECF through prayer, worship, fellowship, charitable service, cultural programs and cooperation among our churches. Each generation has contributed to the legacy we inherited and carries a responsibility to pass it faithfully to the next.
As we look to the future, may KECF continue to build bridges between our churches and generations, strengthen our shared Christian witness and serve our community in the spirit of Christ.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
Psalm 133:1
May God continue to bless KECF Dallas and all the churches and families who are part of this fellowship.
